Talk to us
  1. 01

    We scope the role

We start by understanding the role and the business around it — what needs to get owned, who the person reports to, what good looks like in 90 days.

  2. 02

We match and set it up

We place an operator matched to the role — sometimes ready in as little as two weeks — then build the onboarding, tooling, and SOPs around them. It's the step most providers skip, and the reason the work sticks.

  3. 03

    They embed and own it

Your operator becomes a real part of the team, in your tools and your timezone — owning outcomes, not just running tasks, at home with the AI in your stack so the role can keep growing.

Who we're built for

Element works best when you have someone to point a team at.

We place operators who embed and own an area — so the fit depends on you having the pieces around them. The best engagements share three things:

A leader to direct the work.
A founder, ops lead, or manager who gives feedback, shares context, and manages a person. Our operators own the work — they don't replace the person who sets the direction.
A named need.
You can point at the work you need owned — outbound, ops, support, an AI-training pod. The role doesn't need to be scoped yet; scoping it together is where every engagement starts.
Processes roughed in.
You don't need documented SOPs — building those is part of our setup. It's enough that how the work runs lives somewhere, even if it's only in the leader's head.

If that's you, an embedded operator compounds. We'll tell you honestly if it isn't — a bad fit helps no one.

What sets us apart

Work that can be scripted gets automated. We place people for the work that can't — people at home with AI, who keep climbing.

Roles, not tasks
Each operator owns an area with real accountability — the outcomes, the context, the follow-through — not a ticket count or hours on a timer.
Setup is part of the service
Before the work starts, we build the onboarding, tooling, and SOPs with you — so the engagement runs on structure, not goodwill.
Experience worth paying for
We're selective, and we pay for it. You get an operator who has done the job before — not the lowest bid on a job board.
A fit we'll vouch for
We qualify every engagement hard before anyone starts. When it isn't a match, we say so up front — that honesty is why referrals built this business.
Testimonials

Real results, real teams

From startups to growing SMBs, see how we've helped businesses build operations that scale — without the overhead.

Element has found us incredible operations and CAD specialists to work on our AI programs. They worked closely with us to hone the skill profile we needed, then gave us a team that was able to learn and incorporate AI tools (GPT, SolidWorks, custom tools and Claude agents) to streamline the data work behind our AI — structuring real-world, high-complexity data into usable AI training data, in a fraction of the time. That's meant my team can actually use their brains on the hard problems that used to come straight to me, and use their skills for real impact. We consolidated more under Element from a host of contractors and vendor services because of their consistently superior candidates and performance and excellent managerial partnership.

FAQ

Questions we hear on the first call

Should I offshore part of my operations?

If someone on your team can direct the work and you can name the area you need owned — usually yes, and the gains are real. You don't need the role scoped or the SOPs written; that's part of what we set up with you. The one thing we can't replace is the leader who sets direction — that's the filter we apply to every engagement, including the ones we turn down.

What roles work best with an embedded operator?

Roles with real ownership: outbound and sales development, customer support, business operations, e-commerce ops, and human-in-the-loop AI work — output review, data labeling, edge-case escalation. If the work is fully scripted, automation is usually the better answer — and we build that too, so we'll say so.

How is Element different from a typical outsourcing company?

Most providers place a person and leave. We scope the role with you, build the onboarding and SOPs around the person we place, and stay involved as they embed. Our operators own outcomes on your team rather than just working tickets in a queue — and they're at home with the AI in your stack, so the role keeps getting more valuable.

Where are Element operators based?

Most of the team is based in the Philippines, working in your timezone. We hire for experience and pay for it — selectivity, not labor arbitrage, is the model.

How much does an embedded operator cost compared to a US hire?

Meaningfully less than a comparable US hire — but cost isn't the pitch. We pay above market to hire experienced operators and price the engagement around the role's scope. You'll save money; the reason to do it is the person you couldn't otherwise find.

How fast can someone start?

When the role matches operators we already know, someone can be ready in as little as two weeks. When we recruit fresh, it takes longer — we'd rather take an extra week than place the wrong person. Either way, you'll get a realistic timeline on the first call.

Will AI replace this kind of role?

The scripted parts, yes — and they should. That's why we place people for work that needs judgment, context, and ownership — people at home working with AI, so the role grows instead of shrinking. We run Element the same way: a small team with AI doing real work inside our own operation.

What does Element not do?

We don't do task-by-task work, and we don't replace the leader who sets direction. If there's no one to manage the person, we'll say it's too early — and usually tell you what to put in place first. Some relationships do start smaller, though: a scoped project, like an automation build, that grows into an embedded role from there.
